Our bees are making a comeback! Despite the obstacles they faced early on, invasion of ants and small hive beetles, we finally have capped brood!
I don't think we'll have honey this year, but hopefully they can get their numbers up to survive winter! Can you find the Queen? (Hint- She's marked with a white dot!)
Awesome! Glad to hear things are going well now. Our bees were doing really well up until a few weeks ago and the queen slowed way down on laying. I think there was too much honey and pollen in the frames and not enough room for her to lay eggs. So we switched some things around last week and we are going to check on them soon to see how the queen is doing now. We have so much to learn!
